Tim J. Patterson
Managing Director

Tim Patterson, based in Toronto, joined CAI in 2003 as a Managing Director. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, the last nine of which have been in the private equity and venture capital industries. From 1995 to 2003, Mr. Patterson was a Vice President of Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc., a $600 million venture capital and private equity fund, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring and managing small and mid-size investments in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Working Ventures, he held senior positions in the mid-market commercial lending groups of the National Bank of Canada and the Toronto-Dominion Bank. He is currently a Director of Shred-Tech Corporation and Plastube Inc.

Mr. Patterson is a CFA charterholder. He received an M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
