CAI Announces Promotions

Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York - January 2, 2007 - CAI Capital Partners & Co. III L.P. (together with its related entities, collectively "CAI") announced today that Dale L. Tingley and Mark G. Piotrowski have been promoted to Directors of the firm.

Mr. Tingley, based in Toronto, joined CAI in 2003 as an Associate. He was previously a Senior Investment Analyst at Working Ventures Canadian Fund Inc. He received an M.B.A. from York University and a B.A and Diploma of Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island.

Mr. Piotrowski, also based in Toronto, joined CAI as an Associate in 2004. Previously, he was a Generalist with BMO Nesbitt Burns' Investment Banking Group, and most recently a Senior Analyst with BMO Equity Partners. He is a CFA charter holder and received a B.Comm. from the University of Manitoba.
